Our Story
Founded by Youth, For Youth
Bold Minds Africa was born in 2024 from Paul Okoth's experiences in public health and his deep concern for the silent mental health struggles faced by young people in Kenya's rural areas. With the support of McGovarn Kamau and 33 passionate Kenyan youth, we've grown from a personal mission into a collective movement dedicated to mental wellness and community healing. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower young people in underserved communities by providing them with knowledge, tools, and sustained support to build mental resilience, promote emotional well-being, and ensure equitable access to community-led mental health services.
